Owls fall vs. Floyd Central

Floyd Central’s singles players hit the ball all over the court in Thursday’s Hoosier Hills Conference Tournament semifinal match

at Seymour.

That kept the host Owls on the run, and the No. 14 Highlanders only gave up two games at singles in winning 3-2 to advance to today’s championship against Columbus East, a 5-0 winner against New Albany in Thursday’s other semifinal.

Floyd Central (13-4) won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 and 3 singles and 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 singles.
