Seymour’s baseball team had seventh-inning rallies to beat Park Tudor 13-12 and Martinsville 8-7 before falling to host Carmel 11-1 in five innings in the championship game of the Carmel Invitational.

The Park Tudor game started late Friday night and ended at 1:30 a.m. Saturday. Seymour trailed 12-8 going into the bottom of the seventh, and the Owls were lifted to victory by a three-run homer by Tanner Belcher and a game-winning RBI single by Jeremiah Tracey.

Zack Brown went 4 for 4, scored five times and had an RBI to lead the Owls. He also pitched the first 3-2/3 innings, striking out eight and walking seven, before Mitchell Pollmann entered in relief and picked up his first win of the season.
