The Seymour volleyball team made sure Abby Speer would have positive memories of her Senior Night match.

On Monday, Seymour showed superior strength at the net in defeating Jeffersonville 25-6, 25-15, 25-10 in the Lloyd E. Scott Gymnasium.

Speer, the only senior on the team, said it meant a lot to her to win on Senior Night.

“I’ve enjoyed the girls,” she said. “We just play well as a team, and we fit perfectly together like a family should, and I think that makes us a good team.”
