Owls mount big comeback but lose to Floyd Cental



Early turnovers put the Seymour boys basketball team in a 44-21 hole by halftime of Friday’s Hoosier Hills Conference game at Floyd Central.

The Owls pulled within eight points late with a 34-point fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough as they lost 84-76.

Toriek Miller scored a game-high 27 points, including going 17 of 19 from the free-throw line, to lead Seymour (1-10, 0-4 HHC), while Richie Hill had 11 points. Isaiah Thomas pulled down a team-best seven rebounds to go along with six points.
