After playing offense his first three years of football at Seymour High School, Mitchell Pollmann was asked to fill a defensive role.
Being a senior, Pollmann accepted the change and has adapted well to playing at defensive end for the Owls.
“Coming in, I thought I was going to play receiver a lot,” Pollmann said. “Then, personnel-wise how it worked out, I got into defensive end, and I enjoy it. It’s a good spot for me to play. It was difficult, but the coaches were persistent, and they were always on me, and they never gave up and neither did I. It worked out real well for us.”
