The Seymour boys basketball team kicked off the second half of the season Friday night by playing host to Charlestown.

The Owls held their own against the Pirates, but a 10-0 run by the visiting team to start the fourth quarter spelled doom for the Owls.

With Seymour leading 46-43 after three quarters, Charlestown hit back-to-back 3-pointers and back-to-back 2-pointers to take a 53-46 lead, and they never looked back in claiming the 64-52 win.
