Owls sweep first meet of season, cruise past Madison

The Seymour swimming and diving teams opened the season in dominating fashion on Tuesday night at Madison, with the boys winning 131-49 and the girls winning 130-53.

Seymour won every event in both meets, including the relays.

Winners for the girls were Sidney Stout (50 and 100 freestyles), Alex Hawkins (200 individual medley, 100 backstroke), Nastya Yakovlyeva (200 freestyle), Allison Hayes (500 freestyle), Alexis Anders (100 breaststroke), Sarah Montgomery (100 butterfly) and Kennedi Brown (diving).

Boys placing first were Jon Montgomery (50 and 100 freestyles), Caleb O’Brien (200 freestyle), Ethan Blacklidge (500 freestyle, 100 butterfly), Alec Rohr (100 backstroke), Noah Bullard (100 breaststroke) and Chris Robinson (diving).
