Owners razing hotel property to make land marketable

The iconic, star-capped sign disappeared years ago.

Now the rest of the former Holiday Inn — which most recently operated as a Quality Inn — soon will tumble down at 2025 E. Tipton St. in Seymour.

Lawyer Excavation will knock down the motel building and level the 4.23-acre property on the city’s far east side to make it more marketable.
