Donna Stanley wasn’t too disappointed in the turnout for National Public Lands Day at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday.
The way she sees it, two volunteers helping out is better than none.
With wheelbarrows, rakes and shovels, workers Ralph Cooley and Ron Preloger had plenty to keep them busy.
The two spent the morning working on a new project at the refuge designed specifically for children.
