When the pressure was on in Thursday’s North Harrison Sectional game, Corydon Central delivered.
The Panthers scored twice with two outs to get on the scoreboard first in the bottom of the second inning, and they tacked on two runs with two outs in the fifth to go up 5-1.
After Brownstown Central cut its deficit to two, Corydon responded in the bottom of the sixth with an insurance run. Senior pitcher Chase Burton then recorded his ninth and 10th strikeouts of the game in putting the Braves down in order in the top of the seventh for a 6-3 win.
