Seymour Special Education Parents Advisory Council is planning its 22nd annual Holidays Arts and Crafts Market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 17 at the American Legion Annex, 414 W. Second St.

A limited number of tables are still available. Cost per table is $30. There will be no charge for admission to the craft market. Lunch, drinks, snacks and desserts will be served by the American Legion Auxiliary throughout the day.

The annex will be filled with more than 50 tables of crafts of all types. Wares featured at the annex include handmade precious stone jewelry, stainless steel silverware jewelry, Just Jewelry, handmade candles, soy candles, handmade candies and baked goods, hand-sewn and quilted items of all kinds, hand-painted items, wood crafts and ceramics, handmade pine wood crafts and walking canes, Christmas decorations of all kinds, children’s books, doll clothes, hand sewn purses and locally written books.

Seymour SEPAC was founded in June 1988 and incorporated as a nonprofit organization in May 1989. The purpose of the group is to increase recognition and understanding of children and adults with special needs. The goal is to promote awareness through activities and to develop positive attitudes and appropriate concerns in parents, families, students, faculty and the community.
