Parents' language can shape kids’ lives



A child’s soul and personality are shaped by acceptance and rejection.

Who we are today is due in large part to the acceptance and the rejection that we have experienced in life. Parents need to realize that both acceptance and rejection are communicated most clearly at home.

Looking back, how would your life be different today if it had been consistently characterized by more love and acceptance and less criticism and rejection? Young people thrive in an environment of acceptance, and their spirit can be crushed in an atmosphere of rejection.
