Paris Crossing church planning event for youth

United Christian Church Paris Crossing, 7810 W. State Road 250, will present a youth event, Blizzard Bash 2013, on Saturday.

The event, for children of all ages, will feature The Lasting Hope, a Christian rock group based in Crothersville. The band, which includes Logan Oakes, Craig Bannister, Logan Trowbridge, Aaron West and Josiah Crawley, will perform from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tanner Marling, the son of the Pastor Damon Marling, will preach.
