BROWNSTOWN

Modern restrooms at Jackson County’s two parks.

Security lighting, water fountains and fitness areas along a newly built trail at Brownstown.

All were among ideas discussed during a meeting Wednesday as Jackson County Park and Recreation Department writes a road map to meet the needs and wants of area residents.

But money remains a hurdle, something that road map or five-year plan is expected to help leap.
