Pedestrian injures foot in morning incident

A Seymour woman was taken to Columbus Regional Hospital after her foot was run over by a pickup truck this morning across from the Bartholomew County Sheriff's Department.

At 7:52 a.m., Laura Lamb, 50, was walking between vehicles in the parking lot adjacent to the Bartholomew County Probation Department at 3rd and Franklin streets, according to the Columbus Police Department.

At the same time, a truck driven by Patrick Hatton, 46, Columbus, was pulling into a parking space. Due to the dark and rainy conditions, Hatton was unable to see Lamb walking prior to the accident.
