Family and friends said goodbye to nearly 130 Indiana National Guard soldiers headed to Afghanistan.

“You can tell she knows what’s going on, but she’s handling it better than I am,” Emily Boner said of her 2-year-old daughter Cassandra. Boner will be gone for nearly a year.
