Pine Ridge Homemakers learn of health tips



Pine Ridge Homemakers Club recently met at Lutheran Community Home in Seymour.

President Sandi Hall presided, leading club members in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and the Homemakers Creed.

Aryss Beebe led the group in singing “God Bless America.”

Thirteen members and one past member, Glenna Otte, answered roll call by naming their favorite state to visit.

Achievement Night will be held Thursday at Brownstown Christian Church. Registration will be at 6 p.m., and the meal will be served at 6:30 p.m. Members are to bring items for Ronald McDonald House.

Meals on Wheels will be delivered in May by Carolyn Krieger and Mary Miller.

The lesson “Does your stuff control you?” was given by Carol White. She ended with a poem “Twas the Night Before Trash Day.”

Adrene Wunder, who was the hostess, gave the health and safety lesson about how walking is more effective than running. She also led devotions and served dessert.

Jean Auffenberg won the door prize.
