Board approves storage building

A new pole barn will help Jackson County Health Department dispense medications in emergencies such as mass infections.

The $12,138.48 addition to its West Second Street property in Seymour also will house the department’s emergency response vehicle, Dr. Kenneth Bobb told Jackson County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday.

The 24-by-36 pole barn will have overhead doors on each end.
