Police: Coordinated busts get meth off streets; 6 face charges

Police say the arrests of six area residents early Thursday likely put a dent in the distribution of methamphetamine in Jackson County, at least for a while.

The six, Jackie D. Brown, 43, of Medora, Keith E. Moore, 38, Johnny Ray Graham, 49, and Holli M. Bradford, 37, all of Seymour, and Shannon L. England, 44, and Shawnda L. England, 40, of Austin, occurred after simultaneous police raids occurred at two residences in Seymour, one residence in Medora and an Austin residence. A business at Freeman Field also was searched later in the morning.

All of the suspects with the exception of Bradford face a felony charge of dealing in methamphetamine. Bradford faces a charge of maintaining a common nuisance. Graham faces additional charges of possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance. Moore faces an additional charge of dealing in a controlled substance.
