Chase ends in crash; 2 injured

Two teens were injured after rolling their vehicle down an embankment Monday morning while fleeing from the state police.

Shortly before 6:30 a.m. Monday, Indiana State Police Trooper John Myers noticed a southbound car that was speeding up, slowing down and swerving onto the emergency strip, near the 66-mile marker of Interstate 65, according to police reports.

Myers turned on his emergency lights in an attempt to stop the car for erratic driving, but the car sped away.
