3 juveniles face confinement, robbery felonies



Three teenagers arrested in connection with a robbery last week at an apartment complex on Seymour’s east side have been charged as adults, police report.

Gregory B. Vires, 17, Scottsburg; Michael W. Jones, 17, Crothersville; and Jacob E. Easley, 17, Seymour, face charges of burglary, robbery and criminal confinement in connection with the incident reported at an apartment complex in the 600 block East Oak Street.

Two Seymour men, Myron S. Walker, 20, and his brother, Jamontrae Bennett, 18, face similar charges. The brothers were arrested Thursday.

Seymour Detective Greg O’Brien said weapons were displayed during the incident, reported at 11:29 p.m. Wednesday.
