2 injured in unrelated violence

Police are investigating separate incidents in which two people were injured — one stabbed and the other shot — late Monday night and early Tuesday morning.

A Jackson County man was stabbed and shot at in an incident late Monday night in the Norman area, and a person was shot during a shooting in the Crothersville area.

Neither person suffered life-threatening injuries, police said. Neither person was identified by police.
