Police recover stolen vehicle

Area law enforcement agencies have begun trying to piece together why a stolen motorcycle, a number of electronic items and three firearms wound up in a garage of a Crothersville area resident who is out of town.

Those items, located Tuesday night in the 4000 block of U.S. 31 near Crothersville, included three flat-screen televisions, two cellphones, a laptop computer, the guns and two motorcycles — one of which has been identified as being stolen from a residence in Seymour.

Jackson County Officer Scott Davis said the property owner reported none of the items in question should have been in her garage, which was secured when she left Jackson County this past weekend.
