Police seeking stabbing suspect

Seymour police continue to look for the man they say stabbed a 22-year-old man during an argument Monday evening.

Police are looking for Clifford Russell “Rusty” Wayt, 31, of Seymour, in connection with the incident in which a Seymour man was stabbed with a knife at least three times, Seymour Police Chief Bill Abbott said.

“He will be charged with attempted murder,” Abbott said of Wayt.
