Snow and ice remain in the forecast and spring won’t arrive until March 20, but the summer construction season is about to bloom along Interstate 65.

The Indiana Department of Transportation’s $54.7 million pavement project from Seymour to Scottsburg resumes Sunday evening after a three-month winter break.

For motorists, the return of construction workers and portable traffic devices means ongoing lane shifts and restrictions through the end of this year’s construction season, spokesman Harry Maginity said.
