A rural Seymour family is dialing down the thermostat after being told over the weekend that supplies of liquid propane are running tight.

They can expect only a partial delivery this week, their supplier said.

Sam Stewart, owner of Stewart’s LP Gas in Seymour, also recommended that Matt and Trish Tangman ration their fuel by turning down the thermostat until the supply crunch eases.
