Protect yourself, pets during tick season

It seems like there’s no end to weather-related health warnings.

We have a wet spring, and we are told to be alert for mosquitoes.

The best precaution is to empty standing water and use insect repellent.

Now that the weather has warmed up and the outdoors season is in full swing, we get our next advisory from state health officials.

This time it’s ticks.
