BROWNSTOWN
Jackson County commissioners have accepted a Brownstown woman’s help with landscaping for a walking trail built on county-owned property this summer.
“This would be an ongoing project,” Margie Strange told commissioners during their meeting Tuesday at the courthouse annex.
Strange, who is with Schneider Nursery Inc. between Brownstown and Seymour, said she would put together a master plan to be used whenever someone donates trees for the trail, which begins at the County Park in Brownstown.
The trail is nearly a mile and runs east to County Road 25E and south to the fairgrounds.
