Public works to present program on recycling

Learn ways to recycle many things when Seymour Department of Public Works specialist Bernie Bryant presents “The 3 R’s: Recycling for Everyone.”

Bryant will present the program at 10 a.m. Nov. 8 at the Seymour Library.

The program is open to all ages, and registration is preferred by calling 522-3412, Ext. 1243.

Learn how to reduce usage of natural resources as well as the amount of waste generated. Simple ideas for reuse of resources will be shared, and recycling options in Seymour will be discussed.

Participants will find out where to dispose of difficult to recycle items and have the opportunity to ask questions about the city’s local recycling program.
