RC club plans airplane races at Freeman Field



A local radio control airplane club, the Southern Indiana Flying Eagles, will host pylon racing this weekend.

The event will start with races at 2 p.m. Saturday at Freeman Field in Seymour. The races are sponsored by the Academy of Model Aeronautics and the National Miniature Pylon Racing Association.

Three to four planes will race at a time on a 400-foot course.
