The federal Surface Transportation Board has delayed a decision on a deal that would see CSX Transportation Inc. spend up to $90 million upgrading a Louisville & Indiana Railroad line through Seymour.

The board had been scheduled to issue its final decision on the application for the joint use of that 106-mile line by the railroads today.
