Ready to go: Primary election today

Today is Election Day.

Polls opened at 6 a.m. for Democrats and Republicans to cast ballots for nominees in the general election this fall.

At the close of early voting Monday afternoon, 778 area residents — 2.6 percent of the county’s 29,461 registered voters — had cast ballots through early voting boards in Brownstown and Seymour.
