Red Cross purchases disaster trailer

The American Red Cross recently increased the response capacity by buying a new disaster trailer.

The purchase was made in partnership with Jennings County government, the city of North Vernon and Jennings County’s Emergency Management/911 director Matt Alexander.

The trailer contains 60 cots and blankets and other shelter equipment, according to a news release.
