Jeffersonville had the ball for eight possessions in the first half of Friday’s football game against Seymour at Blair Field.
The Red Devils scored on their first seven possessions to build up a 47-0 lead at the half and went on to a 61-7 Hoosier Hills Conference win. The second half was played with a running clock.
Austin Hines, a 5-foot-8, 185-pound senior tailback, led the Red Devils with runs of 57, 4, and 19 yards for scores in the first quarter, and he added a 1-yard run for a score in the second quarter. Hines finished the game with 157 yards on seven carries.
