When you combine walks and errors in a baseball game, it’s not a recipe for success.

Then the opposing pitcher doesn’t allow any hits, and it’s a long night of baseball.

Trinity Lutheran baseball coach Bob Tabeling will agree with that as he witnessed firsthand Wednesday night at Alf Snyder Field. Rising Sun came into the game ready to play, and the Shiners scored two runs in the first inning on two Trinity errors and never lost the lead in claiming a 12-0 win.
