Seymour football coach Josh Shattuck didn’t waste any words when talking about the difference in Friday night’s Jackson Bowl VII at Bulleit Stadium.
“They’re a good football team,” Shattuck said following the Braves’ 57-8 win that gave Brownstown Central its third straight win in the rivalry.
“They’re good like every team we play,” he added. “Every team we’ve played is, compared to us, faster, stronger and bigger. It doesn’t matter, 3A, 2A. I don’t care if we’re playing a peewee team; if they’re bigger, faster, stronger, more physical, then it’s going to be a long night, and that’s not something that’s going to change in a week of practice. I can’t make my kids grow in four days.
