River crest expected Sunday



The East Fork White River overflowed its banks early Friday, triggered by snow melt and recent rainfall.

The river is expected to crest at 17 feet about 1 p.m. Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

The river was rising from 14.42 feet at 4 p.m. Friday. Flood stage at Seymour is 12 feet.
