The state has awarded a contract for pavement rehabilitation on U.S. 50 between Brownstown and State Road 446.
Dave O’Mara Contractor of North Vernon received the $588,513 contract from the Indiana Department of Transportation on Friday. The work involves full or partial-depth replacement of asphalt.
The company, one of two paving contractors to bid on the project, cannot begin work before July 1, and it must be completed by Oct. 15, according to a news release.
