Road work will create delays between Brownstown, Bedford

Motorists traveling U.S. 50 between Brownstown and Bedford during the next four weeks can expect delays due to a $588,531 pavement repair project set to begin Monday.

Dave O’Mara Contractor Inc., the state’s contractor, will have flaggers present at work sites along the 15.72-mile stretch of highway to direct single-lane traffic around its workers and equipment.

The project will begin on the west side of the bridge that carries U.S. 50 over the CSX railroad on Browns-town’s west side and ends at State Road 446.
