Robotics camp gives students hands-on experience

Robots are taking over the world, or at least they will this summer at the annual Robotics Engineering Summer Camp.

For the fifth year, Jackson County Industrial Development Corp. is teaming with Amatrol Robotics, Aisin Companies of Jackson County, Ivy Tech Community College and the Purdue School of Technology to offer the weeklong camp, which gives students hands-on experience with programming and operating robots.

Sessions will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 7 to 11 at the Aisin Human Resources Development Center in the Eastside Industrial Park.
