School board group to discuss legislation

The Indiana School Boards Association will conduct meetings in each of its 10 regions across the state.

The purpose is to discuss legislative positions the association will advocate during the 2013 session of the Indiana General Assembly.

The regional meetings, which acquaint board members and superintendents with ISBA’s adopted legislative program, will be conducted throughout the month of October.

The Region 10 meeting will take place at The Pines Evergreen Room, 4289 U.S. 31 North, south of Seymour. Registration will start at 6 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the program at 7:30 p.m.
