School board’s summer busy; Upcoming meetings focus on priorities



There’s little summer vacation for Seymour Community Schools officials.

School board trustees will conduct three special meetings during the next few weeks to discuss projects, expenses and school safety plans.

“We began some vision planning and goal setting last summer,” Trustee Nancy Franke said Monday. “But some of those visions and goals were placed on hold during the interim while the trustees worked on the transition in superintendents. We have anxiously looked forward to resuming these planning meetings.”
