School safety projects each carry $2 million tab

Trustees with Brownstown Central Community School Corp. received information about projects to improve the security and safety of each of the corporation’s three schools Thursday night.

The projects, each of which has a price tag of nearly $2 million, will be discussed again Tuesday during the board’s regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the elementary school.

A public hearing for the projects, which will be financed with bonds, is set for Feb. 11.
