Schools leader retiring



For the second time in a year, Brownstown Central Community Schools trustees are looking for a new superintendent.

Superintendent Jim Terrell tendered his resignation just before the board’s monthly meeting Tuesday.

Board president Mary Ann Spray announced Terrell’s decision — effective Dec. 31 — during the meeting. Afterward, Spray said the resignation caught her by surprise.
