Crothersville's girls basketball team cut its deficit to two points in the second quarter of Thursday's game at West Washington.

But turnovers hurt the Tigers as host West Washington pulled ahead 33-17 at halftime and went on to win 61-43.

Crothersville finished the first half with 15 turnovers and had 24 for the game.

Becca Hensley and Alexis Adair each scored 12 points to lead Crothersville (5-4).

West Washington's Shelby Springer led all scorers with 20 points as the Senators improved to 6-1.
