Sectional officials at Seymour, Salem and Orleans have called off boys basketball semifinal games scheduled for Friday night because of the weather in the area.
The Class 4A Sectional 15 games at Seymour will now be played on Saturday. Bedford North Lawrence will play New Albany at 6 p.m., and Jennings County will play Jeffersonville at 7:30 p.m.
The Class 3A Sectional 30 games at Salem also will now be played on Saturday. Salem will play Scottsburg at 6 p.m., followed by Brownstown Central playing Corydon Central at 7:30 p.m.
The Class A Sectional 61 games at Orleans will be on Saturday, too, but the games have been flip-flopped. Crothersville will now play Northeast Dubois at 7:30 p.m., and Orleans will play West Washington at 6 p.m. The games were changed because of the Northeast Dubois girls basketball team playing in Saturday's state finals at Terre Haute.
The championship games for all three sectionals will now be played at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
The gymnastics sectional at Columbus East is still on as of 4 p.m. Friday. Seymour is competing in that event.
