Zach Carter played football for Immanuel Lutheran School in Seymour in fifth and sixth grades, and he played for Seymour Middle School the next year.

But when he moved on to Trinity Lutheran High School, there wasn’t a football program until this season, Carter’s senior year. He jumped at the opportunity to play again.

“I was really looking forward to it whenever the news came that they were going to have it,” Carter said. “I was really excited and looking forward to the opportunity to play.”

In his early years of playing, Carter was on the offensive and defensive lines as a right guard and a tackle. This fall, he’s a guard on offense and an end on defense.
