Seniors Mitch McCoy and Jack Tormoehlen recently were named the Seymour High School boys track and field most valuable runners, while senior Zoey Johnson earned that award for the girls team.
McCoy led the Owls in the 800-meter run, placing first at sectional, third at regional and 14th at state. Tormoehlen was the Hoosier Hills Conference champion and qualified for regional in the 3,200-meter run.
“Jack and Mitch ran every event that I asked them to run,” Seymour boys coach Randy Fife said.
