Jonathan Rollins played football in Brownstown from fifth to eighth grades. Then he chose to attend Trinity Lutheran High School, which didn’t offer the sport at the time.
When he was a junior, though, Trinity started football, and he wanted to get back into it. Of all the sports he played growing up, football was his favorite. He couldn’t pass up the opportunity.
“I really missed it, and I never thought I’d be able to play again when I came to Trinity,” Rollins said. “It was a great surprise when we got it my junior year. I was definitely a little rusty that first year, but I started getting back into it a little bit my senior year, started picking it up again and doing better.”
