Paxton DeHaven finished the first round of the Indiana high school girls golf state finals Friday afternoon, and she still had her driver in her hand.
The Seymour senior was headed to The Legends Golf Club’s driving range. She wasn’t satisfied with her 6-over 78 because it was her highest 18-hole round of the season.
DeHaven wants to make sure her second and final state finals appearance is one she will remember.
